Temporary Accountant

Accounts Payable and Reporting:

  • Process payments following a three-way match between purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes/ service report, etc. by receiving, reviewing, verifying and reconciling before any payments are released.

JOB PURPOSE

Junior Accountant

  • Responsible for daily accounting operations, settlement, and bank reconciliation.

At Eni, we are looking for a Treasury Accountant within Eni Abu Dhabi B.V. in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for performing general treasury related activities in Finance & Control Department. Preparing the payment orders in Company’s online banking systems and ensuring that the payments are done correctly and in an accurate manner. Making sure that the cash balances as per bank statements are reconciled with the Company’s accounting books.

As a member of the finance department at Eni Abu Dhabi B.V. you will be responsible for:

Performing of input of the payment orders in the online banking systems ensuring that all the payments are supported
by the proper supporting documentation
Preparation of the Cash Call Forecast from the Head Office based on the payments due in current period.
Posting of the outgoing and incoming payments in SAP system and clearing the relevant open items.
Ensuring that all invoices are paid in due time as per the payment due dates.
Preparation of the funds for the cash calls to Operators based on the approved schedule.
Monthly performance of control bank account reconciliations.
Ensuring all transactions are supported by a clear audit trail.
Input in the PCFM cash flow reporting system.
Periodical update in SAP of currency exchange rates based on the company’s policy
Daily communication with the bank service team for general enquires

Accountant – Dubai/KSA

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Processing suppliers’ invoices and payments both based on contracts or on ad hoc basis
Respond to all vendor inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to booking/payment, as per company’s internal policy and VAT compliance.
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense reports.
Assist in month end/ year end closing.
Assist with other projects as needed.
